i would think you need to graph a shape of half circle to that when rotated makes top of the cone like shape

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have know idea what to do at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea me either hold up @nikato

OpenStudy (anonymous):

k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i found what you need ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I saw that before but what would I write as my answer?

OpenStudy (nikato):

U can plot (0,5) and that could be the vertex of the cone Plot another point on the x-axis, lets say (3,0) and call it B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok got it

OpenStudy (nikato):

Connect AB and rotate it around the y-axis, which actually means you're just rotating B because your point A is the vertex which will be a fixed point

OpenStudy (nikato):

If you rotate, you would find another point you can graph call C which is (-3,0) And your cone would have a radius of 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that it? if so what would I put as my final answer?

OpenStudy (nikato):

I think that's it. And you could write something based on that^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you so much :) do u have time for one more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nikato

ikr isnt nikato awesome? haha
