Large plateaus of flood basalt on the ocean floor can be found as a result of mantle plumes. True False
its true
The generation and spreading outward of new seafloor at the mid-ocean ridge is evidence for plate tectonics. How can the ocean floor be spreading outward at the mid-ocean ridge spreading center without Earth getting larger? The new material spreads outward until it reaches a continent and then it piles up into mountains. The new material is subducted back into the mantle as soon as it is generated. The spreading of the seafloor at the mid-ocean ridge is offset by subduction at oceanic trenches. The movement of the continental plates offsets movement of the oceanic plates.
@insa
i guess it A but not sure
why do you say it a
cuz i think so
in my geography book, i read new land is made or a ridge is formed so i think its A
ok thanks
:)
