Please help me!! I'm new to Open Study and I would really like some help understanding what to do and how to do this problem! Given the following information, find the measure of angle vzw, angle VZY equals one hundred ten degrees, angle WZX and angle XZY are complementary. (Pic below) fifty five degrees thirty five degrees twenty degrees seventy degrees
I can help. I just need to find my pencil first :)
Another user can help you, math is not my best subject.
Thank you anyway Becca, have a good day!
hank you so much @alyssarobinbrooks !! ^-^
no problem! :) okay so, it helps to draw out the problem insted of just using the picture. but if youdon't want to do that, it's your choice. can you tell me what the known angle degrees are? like the label and the degree?
do you know what mean complementary angles ?
Complementary angles are when they both add up to 90 degrees and we know that angle VZY equals 110 degrees.
yes right so than just make the differents and will get the right answer
okay so we know that angels WZX & XZY are going to add up to be 90 degrees, so then VZW = 20 degrees.
So the answer is 20 degrees?
Oh it is
Omg yay! I know how to do it now! I was really confused on how to find the correct answer so I really appreciate the help! Now I can do the rest by my self :) Thank you! I want to give both of you a medal but I cannot. :C I'll go on my friends account and give you each a medal then. :)
Hahaha it's cool, I'm new to the website so I have no idea what ypu're talking about. lol :) I hate geometry but there are some things I understand. Glad to help! :)
Well my fellow homeschool friend @Cydney_Morgan uses this website all the time so I thought I would give it a try. Thank you for making my first experience a great one! :D
No problem :)
