Divide your figure into three triangles. Find the area of each triangle. Then add the areas of the three triangles. This will be the area of your figure. Area of a triangle = base times height times 1/2. Area=B*H*1/2 The length of each side of the triangles is found using the distance formula. \[distance = \sqrt{(x _{2}-x _{1})^{2}+ (y _{2}-y _{1})^{2}}\]
