3y+6x=18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you trying to simplify this? If so, if you divide each term by three, you get y+2x=6 It's impossible to simplify further without another equation or knowing the value of one of the variables.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on the line 3y+6x=18 determine are the co-ordinates of the x and y intercepts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put it in y-intercept form: y=6-2x Therefore, the y-intercept is 6. If you draw out the line, you get that the x-intercept is 3. Hope I helped!
