Need help with Percents!!! In a recent survey, 14 people found their mayor to be"very competent."This number is exactly 20% of the people surveyed. How many people were surveyed? I need help doing this with the percent formula!! I need to know how to get the answer (I already know what the answer is)

OpenStudy (mokeira):

There is no absolute formula but basically \[14people = 20percent\] \[x=100percent\] cross multiply \[20x=14 \times 100\] find x
