do you think all enzymes would work well at the pH and temperature ? How to explain it to obtain 5 marks?

OpenStudy (preetha):

Hmm. Clearly your question is incomplete. How can ALL enzymes work at the PH and temp? Which pH and which temp? All Enzymes work at diff pH and diff temps. Some work at pH 7, some work at pH 4....etc etc

OpenStudy (preetha):

And before you get hung up on the 5 marks, try to understand the concept of the question....js!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Enzymes can be affected by different factors. Namely Temperature, PH and Concentration. Just like people, each enzyme functions best in different circumstances. if an enzyme is subject to temperature, PH or concentration outside of its range its active site changes can change shape and it becomes dormant (asleep). If an enzyme strays way out of its comfort zone it can be irreversably changed and it is then denatured.
