OpenStudy (trr54):

Find a gcf first

OpenStudy (trr54):

Which is 6 for the denominator

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

multiply each term by 6, which will get rid of the denominators in each fraction and you get 2(x + 1) - 3(x - 1) = 6 now distribute then collect like terms

OpenStudy (trr54):

Like tht^

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

and you will be able to solve for x
