OpenStudy (anonymous):

does glomerular blood pressure increase if systolic blood pressure increase?

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

i'd say this is a 50/50 between it either increasing or decreasing or staying the same :D

OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

but i dunno which :/

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Yes

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

So hydrostatic pressure is cause by the systolic (Contraction of the left ventricle). People with high blood pressure (Hypertension) will have a higher glomerular blood filtration, so they would make more urine, theoretically, if no ADH nor aldosterone interfered.
