OpenStudy (accidentalaichan):

I want to rewrite The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in another character's point of view. I don't know which character I should choose.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

To me, I think the most obvious alternate point of view would be from Shmuel's side. His feels, thoughts, experiences from inside the camp and from his interactions with Bruno.

OpenStudy (accidentalaichan):

I thought about him or his father. His father is a bit older, and understands what is going on. Plus, when he goes missing, Bruno and Shmuel don't know where he is. Maybe writing about what happens to him?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Shmuel's father? That sounds interesting. But I don't remember much about him at all. ;-;

OpenStudy (accidentalaichan):

He's only mentioned near the end when he goes missing and Bruno sneaks into the camp to help Shmuel find him.

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Oh, is that really it? >w< Then, if you were to rewrite the novel from his POV, it would just be a story of an Auschwitz patient, I guess? /),(\
