OpenStudy (abhisar):

Since the total resistance is 25 N, the cyclist must apply an equal force to overcome this force and gain a constant velocity of 12m/s P=F.V => P= 25\(\times\)12=300W

OpenStudy (eric_d):

I can do the rest

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Now, the resistance is reduced to 15N and the output power is same. => 300=15\(\times\)V => V=300/15=20m/s

OpenStudy (eric_d):

Thanks @Abhisar
