How to find the volume of this can? The height is 4.5 inches while the radius is 2 inches, what is the volume?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[V = π r² h .\] use this formula. Everything is given

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure where to begin.. what do I plug into r/h?

OpenStudy (mokeira):

\[v=\pi \times r ^{2} \times h\] you have r, you have h \[V=\pi \times 2^{2} \times 4.5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Using the formula posted above you can find the volume :) In V=πr²h, v is volume (The answer), π is 3.14 (Mathematical Fact), r is radius of the shape, h is the height of the shape :) Hope this helps :)
