DNA is the double helical structure which is made up of two opposite strands. It is composed of Phosphoric acid, pentose sugar and nitrogenous bases.

pentose sugar is deoxy ribose which has an Oxygen atom lost at the second Carbon

the phosphoric acid attaches with the phospho diester bonds at the 5 th carbon of the pentose sugar

the nitrogenous bases like Adenine, Guanine [purines] and thymine and cytosine [pyramidines] but is Rna we see uracil also
