OpenStudy (anonymous):

a rocket ship is on its way to moon at 15, 000 mph when it is alerted that a second ship is observed 1000 miles away (viewed at angle 30 degrees from the line of the motion of the rocket ship). The second ship is travelling at 9 000 mph and will cross the path of the first ship at right angle. Are they on collision path? If so, how much time does the command pilot of the rocket ship have to take evasive action?
