Natural selection is the process by which more favourable traits are picked over less desirable traits. For example, a giraffe with a longer neck would be more likely to survive and reproduce because it is favoured by natural selection. Thus, this would lead in a species that is more adaptable, with a number of different traits. Your answer should be B. Hope this helps!
