OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

why every equilateral triangle must also be an acute triangle?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

u copied and pasted that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if an equilateral triangle has 3 equal sides, then it should have 3 equal angles. However the sum of each 3 equal angles should be 180. so it measurement of each 3 angles should be 60. since the measure of all the 3 angles are 60, the triangle is said to be acute.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a good explanation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

better than i can put in word

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because every angle in an equilateral triangle is 60 degrees. an acute angle is an angle that is less than 90 degrees. so all of teh angles are less than 90. so they are actue:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*acute

OpenStudy (anonymous):
