How to write 25% of 100 as a word phrase

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like uhm.. "7 plus the number x" would be the phrase Then you would put it into algebraic translations sooo it would be 7 + x I have to put 25% of 100 as the algebraic translation, unless its already in algebraic translation? i dont know, i just dont think that "of" is supposed to be there. percent of means multiplication so would it be 25%(100) or something? That doesn't look right. ;-;
