I have no idea if I'll get in trouble for this but I'm trying to write music to my original songs however I can't play any instrument expect my voice. Do any of you have a recommendation of a music maker for a windows computer that's a FREE download? Please let me know, I'm trying to do something next year for my family. Please and thank you!

Heyy! There's a few free titles around, but you won't get much to do with it. And they will be very technical if you don't know about sound engineering/music production. It sounds to me like you're looking for a free garageband equivalent. Maybe there's some way I can help you out. Could you tell me a little more about your situation? Maybe the style? More of exactly what you wanna do. Thanks Carol

Most of the free stuff is, not only bad, but also very EDM and techno...Have you tried to find some friends or others that will play for you...Maybe church people or music teachers?

If it's not something you plan to sell why don't you just look up a karaoke version of a song you like on youtube for example, and sing to it with your lyrics?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well to answer @guitarplayer it's pop/r&b/classic rock style. and with karaoke it's my own lyrics and my own creation sooo it doesn't work. Also eventually I DO want to start trying to sell my music. @Blink-182 first off I have no friends that play instruments and I go to online school and I'm not religious.

....you could try learning for yourself...I taught myself guitar, wasn't all to hard really..

You're better off hiring session musicians then. I don't know what you'll really get for free. I can record guitar, piano, drums, bass, or synths for you. I also offer services in mixing/mastering. I do charge though.. I mean my time is worth money.. You have to look at it in way that you're paying others to help you with something that have a skill you may not have, you're paying for their time (that could be spent making money with other work), and you're paying for the thousands of dollars in equipment producers have invested. If you're interested we can talk. If you really can't pay.. You're gonna either need to make things happen for yourself or find a way to get the money (crowdfunding, or working, or whatever). I mean you wouldn't ask a mechanic to fix your car for free... Today's music business, you can't just look pretty and sing. You'd be surprised how much work the major label artists and independent artists (just as much) put in. If you have any music business questions, or any questions at all go ahead and ask and I'll try to help you out. -guitarplayer @TheAngleCaroll Here are some older public examples. Thanks @guitarplayer but I am only 16 and I have a lot of time for improvement anyways, I'll ask you questions if I need them for music industries I think I'll do what @Blink-182 suggested learning how to play guitar, I have one anyways but I'm just going to have to get down to business and try. THANKS YOU TWO!
