OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

lipoprotein can be broken down to lipids and proteins. Liver does fat metabolism. The amino acids from the protein can be absorbed into the muscle cells. The fatty acids from the lipids can be used in the Kreb cycle (respiration). An amino acid (fundamental unit of a protein) can be converted into pyruvate and be used in the Kreb cycle.
