OpenStudy (jgirl128):

Alright take your time

OpenStudy (jgirl128):

okay, the Martians want to leave Mars because Mars is running out of natural resources so they want to invade Earth for it's natural resources. I got this from this website: http://thebestnotes.com/booknotes/War_Of_The_Worlds/War_Of_The_Worlds06.html "For the inhabitants that have lived there since before human development on Earth began, the problems posed by cooler temperatures and smaller oceans has led them to develop great intellectual powers, in order to meet the needs of the moment. When they turn their newly created instruments towards Earth, 35,000,000 miles away, they see a way to survive."

OpenStudy (jgirl128):

what I can tell from the summaries of this book, the martians want to invade Earth so their species can survive.
