A uniform steel beam has a mass of 940kg. On it is resting half of an identical beam. What is the vertical support force at each end?

This needs a diagram - there is not enough information to solve this in oyur question without making many unreasonable assumptions. Is the beam simply supported at both ends? (i.e. resting on a point a both ends) Is the 'half a beam' resting exactly in the middle? |dw:1407864411716:dw| is very different from |dw:1407864448082:dw|
