Identify a writing situation in which you might want to use pace to create a specific effect. What type of pace would you create? What would you do to create that pace? What would be the effect? Your response should be a minimum of 3-5 sentences.

An easy one would be a mystery/suspense. To create suspense, you'd use short sentences to make an effect and give a lot of description, to let the reader feel what the narrator/protagonist is feeling. They would give words that have to do with the senses, like sounds and sight, and would usually have a negative connotation.

Don't use that exactly, but it should help you.
