I'm pretty sure D. It wouldn't be A and B cause it doesn't not reduce the significance of the words; in fact, it enhances it. It wouldn't be C, cause it doesn't seem to totally show isolation as much as it does foreboding. Cause suddenly, you know she's gonna die, and you want her to leave or something.
