OpenStudy (zpupster):

x = missing side add up all the sides lengths = perimeter 15 + 17+6 + 18 + x + 21+40 = 137 or x+(15 + 17+6 + 18 + 21+40) = 137 add up what is inside the parenthesis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is???

OpenStudy (zpupster):

add those up and i will help if you still can not get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 117

OpenStudy (zpupster):

ok x+117 = 137 to get x by itself we subtract both sides by 117 x+(117-117)=137-117 we get??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh now i get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you
