(Gastrin hormone secreted by your stomach G-cells will attach to the parietal cells of the stomach to release HCl to decrease the stomach pH level to activate pepsinogen-->pepsin for protein digestion only)

B) Blood transports gases, nutrients, ions and wastes throughout the body. (Systemic circulation transport "resources" to where ever its needed.)

C) Blood carries blood cells, especially erythrocytes that engulf bacteria that invade body tissues. (Erythrocytes are RED BLOOD CELLS. They only transports oxygen by using hemoglobin. Marcophage/neutrophils are agranulocyte and granulocyte, respectively. They are WHITE BLOOD CELLS aka leukocytes.)
