OpenStudy (naga447):

Could someone please explain what I need to do to solve this equation? For the function y = f(x), what is the ordered pair for the point on the graph when x = b - 2? (b - 2, f(b -2)) (x, f(b)) (x, b - 2) (b - 2, f(b))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first coordinate is the input, which is \(b-2\) the second coordinate is the output, which is \(f(b-2)\)

OpenStudy (naga447):

Okay then it would be the first one correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (naga447):

Can I ask how you got the coordinate's?

OpenStudy (naga447):

And thanks for your help!!!
