I need help on math, -3(-4y +3) +7y simplify

do you know how to distribute through the parenthesis ?

Not really, I thought I was supposed to multiply -3 by -4y and then multiply -3 by +3 and then add +7y but I think its wrong.

-3(-4y + 3) + 7y --- distribute 12y - 9 + 7y -- combine like terms 19y - 9 you pretty much knew how to do it.....
