If someone is giving problems in chat only but is answering questions why not make a brand new suspension for chat only.

For example if someone is out of control in chat using language and breaking the OS CoC but is helping users at the moment in math or other subjects why suspend him/her from helping just take away their chat privileges till the suspension timer runs out.

This is almost like the kick tool but just for chats and this person wont be able to go back to chat till they complete their suspension.

A good suggestion would be a mute button in chat so you can mute an individual and not see their comments

There is something called a "community ban" where people in the comment box report and suspend someone by amounts of reports

You make my ego feel good :) There are times when I have no notifications, and then when I go to a different section start getting all of the notifications. This has nothing to do with a specific section either, because times the notifications work in math and not in history and English, times the opposite happens.
This is probably not because of the server, because then I would be either getting all of the notifications the entire time, or not getting them at all. Ever.

I really don't know what causes this.

I've suggested another method for the chat...just fix the blocking of a user, so when you do block them you can't see their comments anywhere, in the chat nor post section.

smart but one defect in this idea is that you wont be seeing the person asking for help besides thats what OS is all about getting help not chatting

Yeah I just threw in the not being able to see in posts, I guess you can exclude that other than that, you should be able to block them from nearly anything, including not being tagged, seeing their comments in chat, unable to send messages, etc.

I just said you can exclude blocking from seeing comments in a post, so you can still get help from them, but you won't get notified and stuff, but their post will still be there, where you can see it.

No one is saying anything that's disrespectful or misunderstood lol, don't just assume things. Give it a read or two again if you have to and make a logical decision on what the user is actually trying to say.

Chat mute has been suggested before. We have even talked about it as a possible ambassador tool. However, development time is limited. It has not been a high enough priority to be worked on.
