There are three different positive integers whose reciprocals add up to 1. What is the product of those three integers?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I am thinking of this. You have to have 3 different reciprocals (they will be fractions) and so that when you find their common denominator, the numerators will have an average of 1/3 of the denominator.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I found the numbers. 2 , 3, 6 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/6 3/6 + 2/6 + 1/6 =1

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

So, the product would be 2 × 3 × 6 you got this from here. Tell me if you need more help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait so the answer is?

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

you tell me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i see sorry I have to go

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

do you get it, or not ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get it
