Help with simplest product of radicals.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\large \sqrt[3]{4x^2} \times \sqrt[3]{8x^7}\]

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

applying some index rules you have \[2^{\frac{2}{3}} \times x^{\frac{2}{3}} \times 2 \times x^{\frac{7}{3}}\] now when multiplying add the powers \[2^{1 + \frac{2}{3}} \times x^{\frac{2}{3}+\frac{7}{3}}\] which is simplifies to \[2x^3 \times 2^{\frac{2}{3}}\] or \[2x^3 \sqrt[3]{4}\]
