Daniel needs to study a possible link between anti-inflammatory drugs and kidney disease. Help Daniel design a study that would be appropriate. Explain the type of study, the sampling method, the parameter of interest, and the statistic he could use to estimate that parameter. What conclusions would Daniel be able to draw from this study?

OpenStudy (darronw):

Go back and read your lesson, nothing helpful can be given here for this, only answers and that is not what this site is about.

@DarronW Can't I get a hint on how to do it? I read through my lesson a couple of times and still don't get it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I figured out that He would use a survey and for the sampling method he would get random people of various age groups who have kidney disease I just can't seem to figure out what the parameter of interest is and I also don't know how to estimate the parameter

@LarsEighner Help please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@DarronW I checked the lesson before asking for help here but I couldn't really find anything about the parameter of interest

@agreene

OpenStudy (agreene):

You would want to sample people that take anti-inflammatory drugs. People that have kidney disease would be the parameter of interest. I haven't taken stats in forever, but this would be what I did

@agreene Thanks so much!
