-sqrt1+1/3 over 3

OpenStudy (mokeira):

\[\frac{ -\sqrt{1}+\frac{ 1 }{ 3 } }{ 3 }\] is this what you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-\sqrt{\frac{ 1+1/3 }{ 3 }}\]

OpenStudy (mokeira):

ok..step u square to remove square root \[-(\frac{ 1+\frac{ 1 }{3 } }{3 })\] add numerator \[(-\frac{ \frac{ 4 }{3 } }{4 })\] this is the same as \[-(\frac{ 4 }{3 }\times \frac{ 1 }{3 })\] \[=-\frac{ 4 }{9 }\]
