OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@camerondoherty : can you help me please ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mikurout : can you help me please ?

OpenStudy (mikurout):

<1 = < 3 write the equation and solve for x .

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Tell me the value of x, that you are getting.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tbh , i dont really know how to do that . thats why im asking for help .

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Do you understand this thing "<1 = < 3 . Tell me , then I will proceed step by step.

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Because , if two straight lines will intersect each other then the opposite angles will be equal.

OpenStudy (mikurout):

|dw:1408038498737:dw|

OpenStudy (mikurout):

So here <1 = <3 so 3x-15 = 5x-81 => 5x-81 = 3x-15 => 5x-3x = 81-15 => 2x = 66 => x = 66/2 => x = 33

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Then find <1 and <3 <1 = 3x-15 = 3*33 -15 = 99-15 = 84 Then <3 = 5x-81 = 5*33 - 81 = 165-81 = 84

OpenStudy (mikurout):

@boricua5 .Is it clear still now?

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Then find out all other angels . <4 = 180 - <1 = 180 - 84 = 96 similarly <2 = <4 (they are opposite angles) <5 = 180 - (x+3) = 180 - 36 = 144

OpenStudy (mikurout):

<6 = 90 - (x+27) =90 - 60 = 30

OpenStudy (mikurout):

Now you know measures of all the angels . so you can easily establish the relationship among them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. i understand now thanks (:
