Is the correct Answer A? (Tell me If I am correct Please) Question Below
Use the text below to answer the following question: Case study: The Very Big Apple With over eight million people, New York City is the most heavily populated city in the U.S. Between 1800 and 1900, the population of New York increased from about 80,000 to over three million people. In the years after the Civil War, the population of New York City tripled. With a large influx of European immigrants New York became known as the "melting pot." New York has always had the highest population density of any U.S. city. According to the 2000 census, New York City has about 26,403 people per square mile—almost twice the number of people per mile as Chicago. Based on the statistics in the text and your knowledge, what was most likely the biggest challenge for city officials because of the wave of immigrants? Keeping up with housing needs Finding jobs for everyone Protecting those already in the city Increasing mass transportation
That was my second choice, but A could also be a possibility right?
I do not know what one to choose ;;
I'm not sure either.
I'm leaning towards A given the case study
yeah that many people with their family it should definitely be a
That is what I thought, But he said B, so I do not know. It really could be either A or B, based on the history of the topic.
they wouldn't hav a problem finding jobs for every one let's take a quarter of the amount of people as housewives right so that 750,000 or a little more would not need jobs and new york has many cities with jobs every where from gas stations to office buldings to stock markets
and then there are many kids which is another quarter so 750,000 more so thats 1,500,000 so don't worry about the job part
and then we can take about 10,000 off for people that came to new york rich
which are the employers for there businesses and then in new york theres almost a building a day coming to the city so there is no need to worry about jobs
I see. That makes a LOT of sense.
That's what I thought, so thank you so so much for clearing that up for me.
