Hannah designed an experiment to show a water cycle process. The steps of the experiment are shown below. Pour some water into a small plastic cup. Place the cup carefully into a dry zip lock bag. Zip the bag and keep it in the sun. Observe that the water droplets are dripping from the top of the bag. Which of these processes in the water cycle is demonstrated by Hannah in the experiment? A. runoff B. infiltration C. precipitation D. transpiration I think it might be B but I really can't decide & I've been stuck on this question for a while. Help please & thank you!

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

Infiltration is the process by which water on the ground surface enters the soil. So not B, check that off.

So maybe C because the water droplets are representing rain? @kaylaprincess

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

noo sorry,

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

The sun is causing, evaporation, taking the water out of the plant because of the heat, thus Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and its evaporation from aerial parts, such as from leaves but also from stems and flowers.

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):

^^^ tried to make that simple and straight to the point // sorry it took a little

OpenStudy (kaylaprincess):
