Hi my name's Ammar from Sudan , first allow me to thank the administration of MIT , teachers , those who support MIT , I really learnt a lot from MIT courseware my problem is I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 in some way I downloaded python IDLE interpreter but I could not perform a set of instructions , the program executes each instructions separately , and notice that I'm using IDLE through Ubuntu 14.04 terminal and I'm using this code IDLE to open python IDLE

You seem to be running in the consol and not the code editor. File > New Window is probably what you want. The save what you type in as a .py file. Here is an overview: https://hkn.eecs.berkeley.edu/~dyoo/python/idle_intro/
