this is my last question! Explain how the order of operations determines how you simplify a numeric expression. Be sure to explain the rules for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and the use of grouping symbols. Use examples to illustrate your points.
@Ria23
Do you own work, stop posting on this site and try it yourself, you may learn something that way.
I'm sure your online teacher would appreciate that as well.
do me a favor and not post on my stuff, did i ask u i think not, have a nice day!
You are cheating
(dude don't give her a hard time. She's tried this and she doesn't understand, this is my sister and I told her to post it and I would walk her through it.)
If yhur not gonna help, go to a different question
Again, cheating
just get out. >.> and do me a favor by not posting on my stuff. thank u ariana!
And you're a bad sister in this case for enabling this behavior
shut up bro. >.> i dont like seeing ur name on my notifications.
Dude. Leave. Yhur a bad person. If someone doesn't understand something they post it and people help. If yhu have a problem take it up with a mod. Don't sit here and start crap because yhur point of view is stupid. Briana shut yhur face and stop being rude.
okay i blocked him now help me! :'(
My point of view is that kids should do their own work. If she wants help with a concept, ask about the concept, not copy her question from a test or assignment. Cheating is stupid.
Yhu know, there is a way to explain this without just handing her the answer, before trying to throw yhur two-sense in why don't yhu wait for someone else to answer. That would be the smart thing to do. -.-
Reading her lesson would be smart.
being quit would be smart. >.>
The order of operations is PEMDAS Yhu have to explain the rules for each of these operations, parenthesis, exponents, all that stuff. Write down some examples of problems using each of these different operations and explain using those examples.
Well if I gave you the equation \[\large (2 + 4) - 3 \times 8 / 2\] what would be the answer you would give me going from left to right? and what would it be by using the order of operations? From left to right we would get 12 Using the order of operations...we do parenthesis first.. so 2 + 4 = 6 Next we do whatever multiplication and division ocurs from left to right so -3 times 8 = -24 and -24 / 2 = -12 So we have left 6 + -12 = -6 So sa you can see, using the order of operations we arrive at completely different answer, but only 1 is correct
finally somebody that answers with out the drama
@ctwatson if she doesn't get it, she doesn't get it. I'm done talking to yhu, yhur pissing me off.
Awe ur sticking up for me! ^.^
Do yhur school work stupid.
Yhu understand this now, right?
John gave yhu a pretty good example.
yes mom.. and thank u John. :)
Lol no need for drama, just a learning community here guys :)
And anytime @briananicolenelson :)
lol well thank u
Haha, hey John. Yhu are requested in a question. I didn't get it, think yhu could help?
