OpenStudy (magbak):

Was Brutus a patriot or a betrayer and what is the counter argument

OpenStudy (anonymous):

He betrayed Caesar for bringing democracy in the country. So he was a betrayer of the old laws and patriot of the country and its people.

OpenStudy (magbak):

what is the claim and what is the counter claim

OpenStudy (paki):

The common people thought Brutus as a traitor because as told by Antony, Brutus was the dear heart of Caesar whom he loved unconditionally, he was the best friend considered by Caesar, yet he stabbed Caesar and at that moment Caesar's blood rushed out to check whether Brutus, his beloved friend, had knocked so ungently. This picture presented by Antony moulded the people's feelings against Brutus and they considered him as a traitor.

OpenStudy (magbak):

Didn't Brutus kill Caesar then kill him self so I think he is a pretty little coward cuz if you take your life your a little betrayer

OpenStudy (paki):

take this.... http://prezi.com/ay5lxmweqhzz/my-outline-argument/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I agree with mag

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And he betrayed Caesar by killing him. He was his best friend. And still he did that.

OpenStudy (magbak):

also didn't Cassius attempt to convince Brutus to kill Caesar before he became king but no he had to kill him when he became king again due to the persuasion of Cassius

OpenStudy (magbak):

that's my point of view is there a counterclaim to this please

OpenStudy (paki):

good argue... nice... @magbak

OpenStudy (magbak):

thank you @paki im having trouble with the counter claim thoe

OpenStudy (anonymous):

beauty i gave you a medal for no reason lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. Cassius convinced him. But Brutus should have listened to Caesar's point of view as well before killing him.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So right. I agree with you.

OpenStudy (magbak):

well if he had know Brutus would have killed him he would have found an countering way to not die that s what I think being the king of Rome and all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol @lank

OpenStudy (magbak):

sorry @paki @Brainybeauty sorry if this is Taking to long for no reason

OpenStudy (paki):

its ok..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yesss that's right... But Brutus was his best friend. Caesar would not have done that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And magbak this was my favourite chapter in English last year so don't worry

OpenStudy (magbak):

ok I have a counter argument to that should I sate it or is it off topic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need a counter argument?

OpenStudy (magbak):

yes I need a counter argument for why Brutus was a betrayer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You need a 'for argument' and an 'against argument' right?

OpenStudy (magbak):

ok my for argument is that he is a betrayer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok He is Caesar's betrayer because he killed him. He should have known Cassius and the others were no good and just wanted power against Caesar.

OpenStudy (magbak):

thanks lol ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur welcome!
