A convenient mnemonic for remembering the the definition of the sine, cosine, and tangent is SOHCAHTOA --sine equals opposite over hypotenuse, -- cosine equals adjacent over hypotenuse, --tangent equals opposite over adjacent). we know hypotenuse is 17000 the side we are looking for(x) it opp or adj the angle 42 deg??
