The function below shows the relationship between the length of each side of a square (y) and the area of the square (x + 3): y equals square root of the whole of x plus 3 Which graph best shows the function? Graph of y equals square root of the whole of x plus 3 graph of y equals cube root of the whole of x plus 3 graph of y equals square root of the whole of x minus 3 graph of y equals cube root of the whole of x minus 3

Answers Graph of y equals square root of the whole of x plus 3 graph of y equals cube root of the whole of x plus 3 graph of y equals square root of the whole of x minus 3 graph of y equals cube root of the whole of x minus 3

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

here is a sight that allows you to graph your choices https://www.desmos.com/calculator so you are having to graph \[y = \sqrt{x + 3}\] I don't have the graphs, but if you type y = sqrt x + 3 into desmos you'll see the curve you need

@campbell_st wow thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@campbell_st wait but the graph its showing has a y intercept of 3 but none of the graphs start at (0,3)

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you may need y = sqrt(x + 3) it should have a y intercept of sqrt(3)

@campbell_st ohh its right now thanks
