This one is a little tricky, cause usually the constant is something like how many you started with, but in his case that's not an answer, so the only reasonable answer is The difference between Shelly and Terrance. Because the the expression 90x-20 represents the total number Terrance earned. The total number of tasks Terrence completed is x and the total number Shelly earned would be a positive number.
