I have to write a short autobiography about myself that we have to share with the class. I am in foster care and I do not want to share my past with the entire class. What do I do?

OpenStudy (supernova_sonntag):

Try speaking with your teacher and see if you can work something out.

Thanks, I have talked to her already. She told me to leave out the parts I am not comfortable with, but said that the 500 word minimum still applies to me. As I was just taken out of my situation a few months ago, I have very little to right about. Do you have any ideas for how to reach 500 words with a few months of things to write about?

OpenStudy (supernova_sonntag):

I am glad everything worked out for you. :) Since I don't know you I can't help you pinpoint specific experiences to add, but I can suggest that whatever ones you do pick you can try to be very descriptive. 500 words isn't that much once you get started writing, trust me. You could try sticking to hard core facts about yourself, like when you were born, schools you went to, your favorite things, friends, ect.

its good approach...
