Geometry 7 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are two similar cones. cone a has an altitude of 5 cm and cone B has an altitude of 13cm. if cone A weight 20 lbs, how much does cone B weight?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the volumes ( and the weights if they have same densities) are in the ratio of the cubes of their heights

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could I get an equation please? or an Answer with an explination on how you go that answer?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

13^3 / 5^3 = x / 20 where x is the weight of cone B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5^3 is 125 how do you get 20 from that?
