solve the inequality: -2<4x-10<6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you think we do first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we have to get 4x by itself first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to make x the subject.. so both sides of the inequality you need to do the same thing. hint: 4x remain in the middle then you make x the subject

OpenStudy (bradely):

-2<4x-10<6 Add 10 -2+10<4x<16 8<4x<16 divide by 4 2<x<4 Source: http://www.mathskey.com/question2answer/
