If k is parallel to l, find the value of a and the value of b.

So basically you have 2 similar triangles. You have one triangle with sides a, b, 40 and another triangle with sides a+15, b+20, 60. You can use similar sides to make\[\frac{ 40 }{ 60 }=\frac{ a }{ a+15 }\]If you divide and cross multiply you come up with \[10=a\]If you want to find the other side I can check to make sure you come up with the correct answer.
