Where do I start? I have no idea.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

There is also a 2008 version of the same thing. The materials will have some overlap and some differnces. Between them both you can get a lot of practice.

Thank you all very much!

If you are new to programming try the MIT6.00 course I would recommend edX over OCW, it's the same class but I think it's put together better at edX. the 6.00 course explains the concepts of programming and uses Python as there in class language, it's a great course.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

And either edX or Coursera or both have self paved versions of intro to programming ow. So does Udacity. Originally, the OCWW materials were the only self paced method. Now, one advantage of the open materials is more questions to practice on because only in doing that sort of work do you develop the skills needed.

I reccommend https://www.udacity.com for their course on computer science. It teaches a lot of basic python to get you started programming in it. Thats what I used to get started. They explain things very well as if they were talking to a baby so dont be scared to try it out.
