Openstudy is a semi-benevolent dictatorship or maybe an oligarchy would be the correct term. You are at the mercy of moderators who don't have to justify bans and are held accountable to no one.

You can't! Given the lack of a competent dispute system, you're left at the mercy of the abuse@openstudy.com email and the fact that it's never checked. People will constantly redirect you there.

Moderators are a tight knit circle. They're kind of like policemen. If one does something, the rest will cover them.

There can be confusion when two people are using the same IP. You can help with this problem by maybe having a chat with your brother. Better yet, you use the computer first, then his inappropriate behavior won't reflect on you.

BTW, the ban was issued to lopez____rvb. I think it was 1000 hours. Maybe more. Here you are as Lopez_____RvB. As you are posting, it appears you are not banned at this time.

You suspend people on false pretenses, stop being rude and mean to people. You're not going to be a moderator long, I can tell you THAT. Maybe you don't get complaints, but other moderators do, wanna to know why? Because your attitude is screwed, this is why no one likes you. I hope you get your moderator privileges taken, obviously you don't know how to use them correctly.
