@TylerD

OpenStudy (wiggler):

Since you're trying to find h, start by rearranging to find h by squaring both sides, then moving the w term to the left.

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

B?

OpenStudy (tylerd):

\[12.1=\sqrt{9.6^2+h^2}\]

OpenStudy (tylerd):

12.1^2-9.6^2=h^2

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

i got 7.2

OpenStudy (wiggler):

Take the square root of both sides and plug your numbers in. \[\sqrt{12.1^{2}-9.6^{2}}=h\]

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

so B is the closest

OpenStudy (tylerd):

i got 7.36

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

B is correct :)

OpenStudy (tylerd):

this one all you really have to do is plug in the numbers....

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

yes i got that :)

OpenStudy (dannyrod2000):

thanks :)
