how do you represent the decimal 50 integer in binary?

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

decimal means base -10 and binary means base-2 so, All you have to do is repeatedly divide by 2 until the answer is 0 and look at the remainders. start with 50 divided by 2--u'll get 25 so Remainder = 0, so least significant digit = 0 now 25 divided by 2 Answer = 12, Remainder = 1 , so second digit = 1 like this go on until u get a 0

OpenStudy (poopsiedoodle):

You could also pull up your computer's calculator and enter programmer mode, and then type 50 and press Bin which converts the number into binary :D but use sid's way so you can learn it for when you don't have a calculator

OpenStudy (masumanwar):

the binary change is 00110010
