@johnweldon1993 can u help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 8,000 B.C.E?

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

While I am not good in history, I am proficient in google searching. Looks to be during the Neolithic era about 12000 years ago, not sure on an exact time frame though

Probably about 12 thousand years ago, although precise dating has not yet been possible.

OpenStudy (dangerousjesse):

Well, the Agricultural Revolution began in the Neolithic era (around 12,000 years ago). This pretty much means that we humans first gained control over our environment 12,000 years ago. Slash-and-Burn agriculture was one of the first agricultural advances made by people after we figured out the basics of agriculture, so I'm guessing it would be a little under 12,000 years.
